What do you want in the Boruto Manga?

Nothing. I don't want anymore milking. The series should end with Naruto becoming the Hokage. No Boruto, no Sarada, and no OCC characters like Kawaki. Just let it end for gods sakes.

It ended - Naruto manga made a clean ending. I never watched Beyblade series after the original 3 season run ended. Never cared for the next two after it and I can assure you it really doesn't matter if you do not follow the next story in the same verse if you are bored.

If a series can be milked it means there is still demand for it. Nobody throws a cash cow away. People may as well know the term better and realize practically every franchise that can :

Besides Kawaki is not OCC if it stands for "out of character character" as the term is primly used in FFs. That label is not given to original characters but the canon character who are rewritten by a FF writer in a way that changes the original character traits.

Cycle of war that was ongoing because of Black Zetsu and Indira and Asura rivalry ended. Unfortunately there is no happily ever after - you watch Shrek and cheer for them and then find out there is a Shrek 2.

I would say Kishi was serious and sincere up to Ch 700 and after that the quality went down but then for the movie he did a great job with coming producing the scenes. Kishi wanted to have a sense of humor which is probably why he threw that bit in.

Maybe i misunderstood, but so do you think the manga was good until chapter 700? And if so, why do you think that?

To me, the story went downhill in the middle of shippuden, and that said, of course there's demand to the series. Naruto is a franchise that sells well, independent of quality, and having a new manga there's more opportunity to merchandise, events and sell others products.

That said, i particularly think the original manga ended being crap, story wise. Kishimoto imo was fed up and didn't care at all to his characters and the plot in general. So i think there's possibility of the new manga turn better than shippuden. There was need for it, regarding story? Not really... But this doesn't mean necessarily mean it will be bad.

Even though I am probably not their prime demographic, I am going to mercilessly enjoy the upcoming Card Captor Sakura sequel manga series once it comes out.

Plus there's also Noblesse and other stuff out there that are more worth the time.

Noblesse <3 is my personal current favourite although some people may have to stick around page 70-72 to get it. (Manhwa so it's in script form in manga terms it seems like 72 chapters but the each age has like 3 panel on average.) But I'm enjoying Black clover too- it did start as something heavily influenced by Naruto but it's already taking it's own character and it's fun.

Problem was that he was far too sincere and kept trying too hard to give characters some kind of redemption that lead to people claiming there are no villains and was explaining things too much resulting in people expecting the pseudo science he introduced, to be the real science and expecting same standards as real life physics.

It's impossible to get part 1 vibe because there're nothing that would stand in the way against Naruto and Sasuke and the closest way to have this ninja theme is to start from ground up up to the sage mode level Pain arc perhaps bit more powerful by using this technologicial advance since it's clearly a new era and the new generation always surpass the previous.

The story would never move on and no conflict if Naruto and sasuke aren't deceased thus the "milking" you guys speak of.

So far I don't see Boruto getting handout powerups, Boruto might live up as a prodigy unlike the others.

Uhm this is a story revolving about boruto and the new gen and not the old gen nor naruto. The author could easily make a ''villain'' for the new gen like a carbon copy of garaa joining the chunnin exams just to test his power and the new gen seems him as a threat. Something like will work. Naruto won't and cannot get involved in those type of things because he's really busy and that person wouldn't be a threat to the village.

What the author decided to do instead is telling us that, somehow, this new character ''killed'' naruto. At that point I knew that Naruto GT was born

I just wish the story wasnt life or death. I wanted a casual story with a Village Level Threatening enemy like Oro. Some realistic level enemies like Zabuza. Things like that.

I wanted that part 1 vibe that made me like Naruto in the first place. ACTUAL NINJA, not superpowered beings saving the f*cking world.

They are trying to hard. They could easily time skip without destroying ALL of Konoha. I wanted to see an actual Ninjas lifestyle dammit.

2. Get rid of these overpowered tattoo shit. Let chars work for their power. For example take Byagoku. It took Sakura three years to master it, it was her own unique powerup. Same deal get rid of these tattoos and characters should go back to train for their power. What happened to the good old days where Naruto actually had to practice making Rasengan.

3. Stop keeping Orochimau as a lab manager all day and get him moving in the plot. Where;s the Part 1 Orochimaru that gave kids a run for their money. Now fodders are trying to degrade Orochimaru's original plan in destroying the Leaf Village. Pathetic af.

It doesn't matter if there's some elite shinobi who are as strong as gaara, the chuunin exam treated itself as a friendly battle not death battle. If it goes to this route, it just going to circulating this series again and its not going contribute anything even this supposed character who turned out to be a villain has purpose, they will never consider to be a threat as long as Naruto and Sasuke are still alive even when they're not involved, they will somehow save boruto and the others in the end.

Therefore it would be better off if Naruto or Sasuke are dead or atleast in critical condition in order to have some conflict involve in the storytelling and THAT'S THE PROBLEM because Kishi already wrote himself to the corner whereas Naruto and Sasuke became the most OP character so no matter how much you centered on Boruto and the New Gen, Naruto and Sasuke would ALWAYS be the most Pivotal point of this series.

And I just stated before that if they come up with better explanation as given the impression how Kaweki "supposedly" defeat Naruto which I hypothesize the possibility that the new gen may have the connection with the shinju by developed their power to its peak depending what ability that may put Naruto in danger as well as that this new era gives them the ability to use technological advance which could possibly nuke the enitre villages. Who knows.



You see how the shinobi era changes, even someone like kid boruto before he was aspire to become like sasuke, he relies on his machine to cheat instead of relying on his ninja skills.

Especially someone like Orochimaru may involve with his technological experiment which may enhance their power like he did to Mitsuki who's already at Kage level

I think it was the inevitable. The whole concept of the next generation (in the Movie at least) came out with Otsutsuki being in the plot.

We also see:

I honestly think the simplistic and normal shinobi story is far gone. Now we can still see the same dark style, but just in bigger effect like how the Pain invasion was. However it depends on the writers.

I was having this discussion before. But I think that destroying Konohagakure kind of lost its value. Like who even cares anymore? If they wanted to impact the readers, they should of showed all the Villages, or the World, in some kind of turmoil.

Kishi already screwed his manga long enough but you never said Base not worthy of its life/staying alive. You started disliking this manga when Gaiden started(Still under Kishi) . The reason is understandable, Kishi trolling us and make this manga worthless. Kishi trolling us even before Gaiden. You still followed and supported it.

When the last movie hit it was hinted to being the Last Naruto movie. Meaning afterwards the series was ment to be finished. What we have now is a persistent continuation and ending of the series. Which is ruining the quality of the series. While I am fully aware of Kishi destroying the quality a lot sooner. How is continuing it gonna make the quality better? So you want more of the shitty ending? Do you want more reminders of how bad the series got in the end?

Now going back to the base. Lets face it no matter how hard it is for us to accept. The base won't be the same again even with this new content. Because what we have now is a monthly series. Meaning people won't get Naruto scans every week. Making the hype die down before every chapter.

The series can stay in demand by making it in different forms of media. It does not need a continuation to stay in demand.

Heck I would more than welcome Naruto in the video gaming world where it has still to prove itself in.
