I hope itachi pulls through and so does madara. Then saskue and itachi join up with the kages and fight madara. That would be gangster.
What do you guys think will happen?

That would not be "gangster". Itachi needs to go so Sasuke can get off the teat and make his own decisions. Whether or no Madara is gone now, I don't care. I predict Kishimoto is going to find some BS way to retain him. The story needs to focus on Tobi vs. Naruto now, and eventually Naruto vs. Sasuke.

Itachi will get close to poking Sasuke on the forehead then Kabuto will awaken from the genjutsu either he will realize his true path in life or it will be cancelled because Itachi will be gone. Then a fight between Sasuke and Kabuto will begin. The Kages will still have to fight Madara as he is a "Special" summon. Naruto and Bee will fight Tobi who will absorb some of the bijuu power....

Nope I can't see that happening, Itachi will poke Sasuke on the forehead and probably give him something like he did the first time he died , and then Sasuke will go on a sadness rampage and destroy everything until Naruto stops him.
