I think in the earliest episodes when ashi and her sisters are chasing her I think a ladybug gets on ashi and she marvels at the life of the outside world.
Or it could of been when they were stuck out in see and ashi saw Jack's goodness by how he treated thar small bug.
And it ends with a new day starting and cherry trees blooming one of his happiest memories of the past.
I'm not sure how to take Jack's smiling in the end is he just happy he got back to the past knowing he saved the future or what.
