Sakura's real power has to be something in the form of Katsuya the Slug. That's the third piece of the puzzle we haven't seen. We know Toad Sage and Dragon sage, from Pa and Manda respectively. So where's the third piece and who gives it? Is it also Hashirama's Sage Mode? We'll know later (in color!).

Just like Izanami, am I right? Of course it will be! After all, we weren't notified of any added techniques from Sakura weeks in advance, so we should obviously be mortified and disappointed in Kishimoto's intuitive skills

I don't know, but knowing how Tsunade can use her abilities, it has to do something with releasing vast amounts of sealed chakra in a very short period of time. Sakura only has medical ninjutsu and taijutsu. I don't see a point in her using her new ability in a medical capacity like Tsunade. She has to have some sort of massive offensive technique the requires a lot of chakra. Maybe it is something along the lines of releasing all inner gates and then healing herself with the sealed chakra.

Two questions, though, are why has Sakura been holding out on everybody, and where does she keep her chakra seal?

Most likely something similar to Tsunade's Release Technique. I say something similar because she doesn't really have a special amount of chakra like say Tsunade, or Hashirama. The again neither did Maito Gai or Rock but the still managed to do some incredible sh_t. I guess it's all in the willpower. My guess is that Sakura will reveal something along the lines of Byakugou, about 55% of Byakugou that is, which is sort of like Sage Mode.

It's a shame Sakura's parents are just plain villagers, she could've probably been more epic. Also the Sakura bashers are crazy she's amoung the 5 live kunoichi of NARUTO easily....

Well, she briefly said in the new release how she's been kneading chakra a little at a time, while, at the end, states she's ready to fight with Naruto and Sasuke. So it seems that she couldn't have used this ability earlier.

Maybe she doesn't. Chakra molding in Naruto is like DBZ powerlevel building. It just keeps growing and growing until you need it. Tsunade's diamond seal on her forehead is special, though; it's a pocket of chakra that stays there, even when she herself runs out of energy.
