Chibaku Tensei would not have been destroyed if it where not for the 3 jutsu combination plus Itachi's sudden betrayal happened out of the blue. If it where a 1v1 scenario the battle would have ended differently this I assure you.

You cannot say he cant defeat it w/o there help when he never tried.

Also you cannot logically say that, when itachi saw C/t for the first time and debunked it within seconds.

But your last sentence goes against what you said.

C/t can be defeated by itachi via yasaka beeds. thread has been made before
