Seeing how the shinjuu is the host of god not God/Juubi itself, it should be able to be manipulated like the Gedo Mazo. If Madara enslaves Hashirama with his chakra rods he can fuse Hashi with the Shinjuu. This would allow Madara to use Hashi as a medium(because of his cells and mokuton ability) and improve the tree's function with Senjutsu. The entire tree itself will be utilized as mokuton with the added bonus of the Shinjuu's durability and substantial chakra draining ability.

This would allow wood beasts to be formed that would operated while disconnected from the Shinjuu and combat the bijuu.

Well I don't really know. I have made a theory a long time ago about his trump card having to with psycological war. Then again, Obito is already near his end so I might be wrong. In any case, his trump card will probably have to with power, like sage power as he said but what I hope to be his true trump card is the relevation of Rin's "true nature". You can check at my sig.
