What do you think of the term "Prime Hiruzen" in arguments?

I'm not a fan of that term. We can't make a judgement because we've seen very little from him in 'Prime' form. Undoubtedly he was a powerful shinobi but most of what we knew about him came long before the storyline had fully developed. Prime Hiruzen certainly causes flame wars because of Hashirama's new found tank-ery.

Yes I do! I enjoy his presence very much! I just want to know peoples opinions on him because he is argued upon a lot.

It's pretty similar to "healthy Nagato" and "healthy Itachi". It's simply more fun (most of the time) to compare these characters to others instead of comparing an old man, a cripple, and an aids-patient to other completely healthy ninja. xd

Prety much just that. He was quite good fighting orochimaru in his old man state, but still got his ass handed to him. And orochimaru isn't realy even in the top 10 for most people.

Well logically I'd view it just as Prime Hiruzen>3 sannin. But other than that, idk. I would assume that he can at least be on the same level as minato or itachi, if not higher. I doubt he is stronger than Nagato, but could probably give him trouble. Definitely not stronger than Hashi, and also prob not stronger than Kabuto either.

That's just the way I view that term.

We haven't seen "prime" Hiruzen in action, therefor we cannot mention him in an argument. At least Madara's using Hashiramas moves to show us what he's got. Same way Tobirama shouldn't even be mentioned...

To be honest he doesn't exist in this series. It's just some babble kishi main characters say to bring realism to his story. If it is ever needed kishi will create prime hiruzen and give him the techs to be as powerful as kishi decides.

I like the character but "Prime Hizuren" is a groundless arguement. Half of his fanboys rely on Emna too. One of the sources came from him too. Ego-maniac anyone?
