I think it was a very nice ending to his character. He wasn't properly "TNJd" like Obito or Nagato and he didn't "redeem" himself like those 2 did. However he seemed to accept his mistakes and finally made peace with himself. He also accepted that Hashirama's way of doing things was better, Now the translations were somewhat contradictory between mangapanda and ***********, but I think there is a good chance that he mentally accepted Hashirama's offer to be comrades too. Overall, I think it was a good ending for a villain like him.

Even if i think that he deserved a better one, it was still good. It wasn't ridiculous like Obit's, where the guy that his family got killed by him is crying and saying he was the coolest guy.

It could have been better, but I still thought it was well done. My problems would be more along the lines of how he defeated.

Pathetic and fitting of Madara.
Okay.

I agree with that. Still like you said I think he had a better death/end than Obito; and also Kaguya too.

Yes his defeat was much too abrupt. But I think his actual death was decent.

Could have been better. Still, it was a good end by the actual standards of the manga.
Agreed. I think his actual "defeat" could have been a lot better, but the way he "died" was nice.
I totally agree with you on that. +Rep for the post man.

It was a fitting way to bring some realistic closure to his character.
Thanks.

Naruto sees the good in people.Despite all of what Obito did,Obito changed and did his best to help out as much as he could. He knew he was going to die No matter what yet he still tried his best to help them and save the world.Naruto respects him cause he didn't just give up.He changed and atleast tried to make up for the bad that he did.

Naruto's not filled with hate and anger. If someone is willing go change then he's not going to ignore it and hate them because the wrong they did.

I thought it was karma, he died without a noble end or some redeeming moment, essentially he got what he had coming to him.

He just realized that he was wrong in the end and that he had failed.

It was very good, I didn't expect him to get any final words and I'm glad he did, he got a more realistic and fitting villain death, he just as you said made peace with himself and accepted that perhaps his way wasn't the best, I really liked it.

Madara was portrayed as a cynical guy - it wouldn't make sense for talk to get to him in the last moments of his life.

His final panels with Hashirama were very good; regardless of his final words, the two rivals seemed to make peace with themselves and each other - both of them held onto their values and their dignity.

That's one way of looking at it. The death was a perfect match for Madara's personality.

Yeah I liked his death as a villain more so than some of the other characters.

I was expecting more tbh, and his death seemed to be rushed a bit for me, it was done in few panels. Yes, it was good that he got a closure with Hashi at least but still, it could have been better.
That said, I liked the fact that he wasn't traditionally just TNJ'd , that fits his character better.

Yea, i share your opinion :)
He died as a villain and still with a smile on his lips :)

I prefered the mamgastream Version, i think it fitted better :)
