What do you think of gai?

Gai can't be lee's father. Gai is around kakashi's age and lee is around naruto's age. By the time naruto was born, gai and kakashi were already adolescents.

Honestly, I've always liked him as one of my favorites, he's probably just under my top 5 favorites.
I remember his debut in the anime as a kid and we he said, "life treating you good?" and posed I just about died.
