Deez nuts

Ot: probably a more cholesterol and salt dependent body considering most of our diet is made up of that. I doubt any physical changes occur other than maybe the increase in eye sight as we all use electronics

No, no, no, no, no!

OT: Wouldn't mono-ethnicity improve our immune systems? Also, most of this seems like the next evolution will be screwed over, because technology is not guaranteed, so when they don't have access to tech, they'll need things like more muscle/that extra toe. Good luck to those f*ckers, lol.

What's next for human evolution?

We've obtained the technology to begin influencing our genetic composition directly. That is, effectively, an "event horizon" or "technological singularity" where we have essentially gained the ability to directly influence a process upon ourselves.

Thus, the next phase of human evolution will be in terms of ideological evolution. While these have always been present, the unfolding competition is not so much about genetics and biology - but about outlook, ambition, structure, etc. It's not so much about who can be the fastest or the smartest. It's about who can get the most from their efforts within society - and what societies can sustain the philosophies of their people.

The next phase of human evolution is intellectual and cultural.

But the Red Queen must be served. It takes all the running you can do just to remain in the same place. If you want to get anywhere, you have to run twice as fast as the quickest you can run. Evolution does not serve a species directly. Evolution serves individuals.

It is not humans who will evolve. It is individuals who will define the next standard of human beings - with others fading into obscurity or their heritage becoming extinct.

Of course - I suspect a split. I suspect that there will be a group of humans who will embrace technology and industry, become hyper-advanced, and simply leave after humans embracing the parasitic natures of socialism essentially threaten to kill when they can no longer be fed for free.

Hmm, the article does offer a few interesting things to think about, but I would be cautious with some of the information/predictions that are presented. It would have been nice if the author included the sources that were used to compile/explain her list.

I hope so. Let's weed out these racists, homophobes, and bigots. Time to strive for peace and equality. Perhaps we'll evolve to a higher level of intelligence and realize religion is just not necessary anymore.

Eveolution is not congruent with reality. It's obviously all about Adumb and Eve. Ty, and Creation rules.

As a creationist christian i don't Understand how anything can contradict god.
God said let there be light, that can infer the big bang.
When god made man in his image that can apply to the humanoid form common through homosapien ancestors
Homo sapien ancestors shared the need to bury the dead. They found significance in death like us ,coincidence i think not.
After all the consistent proven( that they actually died) stories i heard of people dying and seeing Jesus nothing can change my faith even aliens( especially if they're humanoid everyone is a child of god). Also I've seen God's work in my life. Also i believe the human conscience is energy contained by synapse and that explains how paranormal occurences are normally linked to electrical and temperature disturbances. According to the law of conservation of mass and energy energy can't be created or destroyed logically consciousness is transferred after death (proven by how brain dead individuals come back with new memories ) and intelligent evps have been recorded. These memories can't be illusions because they experience time similar to how long theyve been out and dead brains dont produce vivid dreams. Also why would the energy of consciousness be the only energy to be destroyed from the universe.

That being said i believe in evolution but still god. I am a reasonable and scientific reasoner and im christian not because of family pressure or the bible but what life has taught me.
Life so far also shows me evidence of evolution

As a person who believes we are eternal beings i do believe spiritualism is needed but the commonalities of religion such as communitized philosophy and fellow ship isn't nessacary. You can be a great christian without being religious. I haven't been to church for months but i always feel close to god.
We can evolve past conflict causing things inside of religion politics etc.

there would be no evolution until the entire human race learns killling each other would just always lead to more killing, until we get past that, we will never evolve

You can't be a creationist and believe evolution. Total opposites.
