Well i am an atheist and i do not really believe in religious afterlife. My theory is that our memories get wiped and our consciousness gets transferred to a unborn child. Or we are in dreamless sleep forever.

I always believe that when I die, I will wake up as a new person in a new life. Why? Sometimes I see memories and places that I seem to have visited, but know I never did in this lifetime. I believe that when I was born into this body 31 years ago, my spirit had moved on from the body it was in previously because that person had died.

Some say our soul keeps wandering until it finds a suitable body. Some say when one dies with some wish which he wanted to do/see in his lifetime he will reborn again to do/see that. My religion prohibits me to do stuffs which are against the religion because if i do that i will be reborn again anf my soul will never be able attain nirvana. Personally i dont believe in any of this.

Sounds like some sadistic game. I thought God was supposed to be all-loving.

Sure, I'll tell you. I follow Jesus because He is God. He died on the cross for everybody sin's and rose again from the grave. Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light and no one can enter Heaven, but through Him.

So what if Christians never did there job and reached out to them... Are we not to spread the gospel... Are they not innocent like a newborn if they do not yet know or understand the word of our lord and saviour

If they reached out and helped the family but never followed Jesus's teachings then they could go to Hell by not following what Jesus said. We are to spread the Gospel. There is no on innocent in this world, all our guilty because of sin. The only one who is innocent is Jesus.

What about nomads in Africa that are never told who Jesus is? Do they get punished for eternity just because no one could tell them?

God doesn't create evidence against anybody. The evidence is out there for all to see. It's up to you to believe it or not, but keep in mind that God will give everybody a chance to accept Him. On Judgement Day, God will show every non-believer who never accepted Jesus that He did give them a ton of chances and people to send them on their way for them to hear about Jesus and to accept them, but instead they denied those people that God sent.

There are missionaries that go all over the world to spread the Gospel. People do hear about Jesus in Africa.

I don't know, I'm not them. Why do you ask theses questions thinking that I know the answer? I don't know everything.

Just looking for some personal opinions here.

I believe that it's like how it was when you were yet unborn so just nothingness and you aren't conscious of anything.
(Although it's possible we were conscious when we were unborn and we just had our memories wiped)

It is an interesting topic, after all you can track back almost every religion's roots to the simple fear of death and the uncertainty that lies after it.

Edit: although if there is a Hell, I acknowledge that i'm going there.

I actually believe that is what is going to happen and somehow we are born again without being conscious of anything nor previous lives.

I do believe we will sometime have another life I dunno...the same way you are here now and came out of the emptiness before you were born.....
