The most significant upgrades were:

Akame Ga Kill (absolute trash) to TTGL.
Mirai Nikki (even worst than trash) to Steins Gate.

The rest was pretty damn stupid.

Well, he's not wrong. I love Death Note, but Monster is definitely a better and more well-written thriller. The others are absolutely true, though I doubt I'll watch Log Horizon any time soon and I'll be damned if I choose Garden of Sinners and Haibane Renmei over Your Lie in April and Angel Beats!.

I agree with most of the upgrades. The only thing that bugs me is the AoT upgrade. While FMA Brotherhood is better, AoT is still amazing in its own way.

i feel the word upgrade is the wrong word here it should have been alternatives.agree with most but the introdution to naruto,OP,and bleach are just wrong.there's the a reason why naruto and OP are that much far ahead of other mangas and anime,they are that much better.hunter x hunter could have joined them but the aurthor is lazy and along came dragon quest.

As for Ano Hana being under 'Melodrama' and Shin Sekai Yori being recommended as an actual thing to watch...ever? Yeah, no. This is hilariously bad.
