I may be wrong but did Sasuke have Perfect Susano at that point, I don't think he did did he? If it isn't PS at that point then as Garra showed us on Madara you can enter underneath through the earth. If he has any jutsu that can let him do that, or he has FTG and I don't remember that well how his worked but if he could touch(mark) Sasuke before he activates his Susano'o then he could FTG inside the rib cage and enter CQC with Sasuke.

I don't think that Tobirama has the means to beat Sasuke. I do think that Sasuke was surprised though. Sasuke just has the elemental advantage, and is has faster bodily movement.

I thought about it, but I don't think of Tobirama near EMS Sasuke level, when you think about the elemental advantage nullifying Suiton. And that I doubt he can break Susanoo, without the explosion technique, which is technically not alone, as he needs the edos. Also, no counter for Amaterasu, as the flames aren't extinguishing. Against anyone who isn't as fast as Ay, or having a perfect counter, Amaterasu is deadly.
