i think he is of no importance. and actually i dont think he's a genius, he doesnt has one strong long ranged jutsu, and he needs more than one hit to kill his enemy on close combat.

Ya but if Neji could block all of one's chakra points, the person would basically be dead. He couldn't move. Of course Naruto did in the Chunin Exams. But Naruto also used the 9 tailed foxes chakra.

Neji is old school lol, hes pretty crap now if you ask me, since the start of part 2 alls hes really done is go to rescue gara, he broke a water bubble then got his ass kicked by himself, i mean cummon, his Kg is really cool but his attitude is gay and he just isnt as grate as he used to be as everyone else has got alot alot stronger U_U

thats what i mean. if someone is hit by rasengan, he cant do anything for the next weeks or is even dead. if someone is pierced by chidori, he has severe wounds, depending on the point he is pierced.
but to block your enemies chakra completely you have to hit 361 times, so it's absolutely ineffective in comparision to other close combat moves.

I think he's as Emo as sasuke, if not more, if Oro had not found sasuke and got Neji, Neji would be going down that path with OP Hyuuga moves xD

I don't know what happened to Neji to be honest. He sucks now in the Shippuden, as do the rest of the students who wern't in team 7. Not enough publicity i say.

You guys are underestimating Neji. Yes he seems weaker but you're forgetting what kind of powerhouses made their appearances in Shippuden. I mean the strongest we saw before Shippuden was Oro and he seemed extremely powerful. However in Shippuden he seemed almost a fluke compared to all the Akatsuki-members, the bijuu's and kage's.

He's someone you certainly shouldn't underestimate also, if you play it, you shouldn't get to influenced by our Naruto RP. I mean there it's normal to fire one jutsu after another, S-rank and even Forbidden-rank jutsu's are nothing special. However in the manga even an A-rank is already extremely powerful. Or haven't you noticed that, no matter which battle, most of the the fighters always start with taijutsu and kunai O.O
If they would start with jutsu's they would be drained of their chakra at a fast rate.
And taijutsu is Neji's speciality. I mean if he gets you even once, you loose.

And about his range: when Hinata's father did Rotation, he blew 10-20 people away in an instant. His range was something like medium, so in time Neji will probably be able to do it too.

i think that neji is one best. granted, i think that my opinion is based on part 1 but neji got that ball that he shoots or something. it looks cool. and i like his attitude, everybody cant b all lubby dubby all the time u kno.

yup, neji is kick-ass! he should've totally been there during pain's invasion so he could kaiten the enemies all away xd

sure he may not have some rasengan/chidori-like power but his taijutsu is very strong and he has brains too. he also beat kidomaru when he was still a GENIN. that battle was amazing.
