What Do You Think About Naruto?

Honestly do you people actually like the manga? I'm curious to know, are you one of those fans of Naruto who has always liked it but don't like the manga recently? Do you think Kishi is great? Do you think he's a troll? Do you think Naruto could be much better?

I mean it seems like all everyone does here is complain about it, so I'm just wondering.

Personally, it's been on and off for me. Some arcs have been really good, but right now man, this war has dragged on for way too long. I mean think about it, it's been 660 chapters, you can't say you've enjoyed all of it.

Are there characters you think have ruined it? Characters you wish we'd have more of? Plot you would have done differently?

For me Naruto is one of the best characters in the manga, yet it seems like now he's faded away into the background. he's still the same character as he was at the beginning, nothing has changed. His mission was to get Sasuke back, and he's come back all on his own. He wanted to become Hokage, but now he's surpassed that title. Has he grown boring? He's still fighting the bad guy and seemingly winning everytime, and it seems like the manga's not really about him anymore.

I want to say that I'm currently reading it because I'm enjoying it, but really it's probably only because I want to see it end.

One thing I would have liked to see is how the story would have been without the introduction of Edo tensei.

The manga is still one of the best no questions there, but yes there're some moment when i think everything is shit. Also some characters have been ruined by plot and some deserved more screen time.
Well with Naruto, i actually preferred the old him compared to shippuden, that one seemed better, maybe it's as you said, he's fading. And i don't really think there's anything such as surpassing the kage position, but if he doesn't become Hokage i will be extremely disappointed. But of course this is my opinion.

I have always loved this series and I still do
It's one of the best ones out there if you ask me.

And sure i'll admit the Ten-Tails Revival Arc wasn't the best one ever, but it was still pretty awesome, so I can't see why people are "losing interest" in the series.

The Return of Madara Arc has been pretty epic so far though, so if anything people should be regaining interest in the manga if they lost it at some point, or at least that's what I'd think.

Id like kishi to think ahead and stop leaving so many un aswered questions.

He leaves so many Loose ends.

So many good characters left in the backdrop while sakura still gets screen time.

Personally id like more darui,and the rest of the cloud bunch.

So many characters had a good amount of growth only for it to be stunted shortly after shipuden started.

I'm still reading to see how it ends,if I hadn't grown so attached since 7th grade till now(24 now and most certainly not in 7th grade anymore) id have stopped reading.

So many of the relatonships between characters have run dry as well as there individual development.

Personaly it feels like kishi is getting tierd of writing but feels obligated to wrap it up neatly with a nice bow on top.

I can only hope he works on his plot devices before writing another manga.

Really I think right now it needs better characters, better interaction between characters, not constant meaningless fights. Completely new stories and arcs with completely new characters maybe? Kind of like in the Pain arc with the Jiraya, Nagato, Yahiko, Konan flashback.

And I've got to say I like Sasuke but man, it sort of feels like his story, his character, has - not ruined - but brought down the manga. The writing of Sasuke is just bad, and really has just stopped making sense. Kind of like Obito.

When I think about it, those were the parts I enjoyed the least, while I enjoyed parts with other characters, like Orochimaru, past Hokages, Pain, Jiraya, even some of Naruto, like when he was training to become a Sage.

Yeah I do like it, I'm not really an anime/manga fan. If I can like it then it's not that bad. That's the only manga I read anyway, and One Piece of course.

I liked more or less everything about the Mange up to this point. Though the things I didn't like are characters that lost and was killed only because they "had" to die. Like Nagato, Itachi, Konan and so on. These characters could easily have made it and either been written out or followed the story, though they all died because they had to for the plot.

What I miss in Naruto are "Ninja's" itself...
I mean c'mon .. in the first Naruto chapters they threw Kunai's/Shuriken - the jutsus were cool and not overpowered.
The kyuubi was a chakra boost and not a lame SSJ mode. Every Ninja had his own unique jutsu and did not spam
tons of variations. All I want back are the fights with strategy and sneak attacks - Not blasting up the battlefield with homing AoE Bionuclear weapons

I've followed Naruto for years. I absolutely love it. It's an inspirational story. It has had a few moments and developments I didn't agree with but it was still good to me. That said, I find The Return of Madara arc to be crap.
