During my time on the base, I've found that there are many different fans that appreciate the manga in different ways, some like the action, some like the storytelling, some like the nostalgia and some are simply reading it to finish it. No reason is no more important than another but I do believe it affects the way you appreciate the story.
Personally, I started reading Naruto because I loved the underdog, never say die attitude that Naruto had. That determination to fight against the odds was always something I liked. Now I'm a bit older and the story has changed, I read it more for the philosophical and ideological conflicts in Naruto and how they will be resolved, for the symbolism and sometimes complex concepts in Naruto and the lessons that can be taken from it. I've found that I don't share the same opinion with a lot of NB members for this reason. So why do you read Naruto, and what does it mean for you?
