Exactly. That's terrible. And its not like he is powerful enough to beat either Naruto or Sasuke, so unlike Kaguya, you can't even say "well, at least his powers are pretty cool and all that."

People keep falling into the same trap of treating him like a major villain when he wasn't. He was a part of a mini story that gave people a peak into the characters and their lives in Boruto's era, as build-up for the movie. Nothing more.
