I talked with an American friend of mine haha. They said they were afraid to go on their vacation with their America insignia so they put Canadian flags on their luggage instead and it worked!
Well actually, it's 4 (sometimes more but they don't get enough votes to really be on a federal level), but the main 3 are the Liberals, Conservatives and the NDP. For most of our history it's been usually just a big time fight between the Liberals versus the Conservative (typically I like the Liberals more as they're more like the Democrats in your country whereas like the Republicans, the Conservatives are very concealed and negative towards the overall senate) parties. In the recent election, there was actually an uprising of a true visionary leader (Think of JFK or good Presidents who would bring good chance) from the NDP and he had a lot of support. He would have won a landslide victory against Harper, but he ended up having cancer, had to drop out (and Harper got re-elected by beating the terrible Liberal Leader) and he died soon after. We won't have such a visionary running for office in a while sadly. So we're in another election year and there's no one who really stands out. One of our greatest Prime Minister's son is actually running for office but I'm not too sure about him. He seems like he has good intentions like his father, but I think he lacks the conviction to change for the better and help with the federal budget. I'd like to be surprised at least. I don't want to vote for Harper this year.
Baha. Besides the adolescent girls, he's really frowned upon here. He's nowhere near like the typical Canadian. He's stupidly arrogant and let the fame get to his head. He doesn't even have any connections back to our country. Drake is a better comparison because he always remembers his routes in Toronto and references that, and is even the ambassador for Toronto's basketball team in the NBA.
