What do you like about Bolt?

I can see your reason for liking Bolt but reallly you're overhyping things way too much mainly because you are overjoying the fact that Bolt is a prodigy who's going to be train under our beloved Sasuke who also happen to be genius and then to such extent you would think Sasuke will snap his senses out of Bolt with being more maturity as well as bringing out his true Unique potential as a genius. People tends to get their hopes up mainly because they love to compare the best tribute to Piccolo&Gohan when Kishimto himself was heavenly inspired by DBZ.

All in all, you should'nt really jump to conclusion, Kishi may shitting upon your expectation and then make Bolt a bland and annoying Naruto 2.0. Yes in last Chapter, it was demonstrated that Bolt was pretty laid back and seem almost completely different which truthfully I'm impressed that Bolt gets along with everyone but his bratty vibe is still there when it comes to his Daddy isssues which I personally despise and don't tell me that he's just a kid when he's only 12-13 years old in his pre-teen.


For that particular objection, theres no reason for me to like Bolt now given with almost no panels and become a fan especially when it comes to Hype itself which usually ended up in Failure. As long as Bolt have done some shit to impress me otherwise I will stand by what I said. Unless Kishi give us a really really good most indepth explanation as to why Bolt distaste his father which I highly doubt it.

I like him as a character, because he represents what Naruto could/would have been if he grew up with his parents.

I don't like anything about bolt yet. He is spoiled and he has a silly reason for hating the hokage.

People seem naturally attracted to Baruto unlike his father who had to force the same friendships, though he appears spoiled it's natural due to his fathers job but Naruto still took the time to use clones to play with Baruto and the kid seems strong I think the title of Prodigy isn't given lightly we'll just have to see if we do before his movie of his fighting style.

Like that obnoxious rich kid that thinks they own the town because the father is mayor...something like that. That's so far though and it's way too early to make a good enough call. We still have the rest of the gaiden and the movie to go but if Boruto displays the same kind of behaviour throughout the whole movie, then I'm not watching.

Although this crappy attitude of his serves as a subplot of the relationship between him and his dad I guess so I'm interested to know how it will eventuate. I'm also interested in how Boruto will be as a student under Sasuke. Overall so far negative but there are things to look forward to.

1) His good looks. His hair is like Super Saiyan Trunks's. And his clothes design is the best of the new generation's
2) His confidence. He knew he's a genius, smart and strong. He's not blindly confident like young Naruto, nor does he's overly confident and arrogant like Sasuke. He has the perfect balance of confidence of those two.
3) The only prodigy of the new generation. How cool is that?
4) He's from prodigious family line from both his mother and father's (Minato and Neji are both prodigy of their time)
5) His father is descendant of Hagoromo, his mother is descendant of Hamura. He and Himawari are like the best quality of offspring a ninja couple could have!
6) His father is Lord Seventh, his master is Sasuke...two of the most powerful ninja in the world. No one from the new generation has that privilege except Bolt

So yeah, Bolt rocks

I like how he isn't the main character of this mini-series, as I don't get to see his constant, ridiculous complaints about how his father doesn't spend enough time with him. Kid needs to learn that his dad has the busiest job in the village.

He used the shadow clone jutsu but not matching the Tajuu Kage Bunshin Naruto used at his age

Was it stated that two shadow clones was his limit? I believe he was only playing with his father, but to be honest, I actually like the idea of him not using the KB technique at all.

He was playing hide and seek wasnt he?Well it was the perfect jutsu to use at that point.No.The shadow clone jutsu is still called that at around 10 clones.For the Tajuu Kage Bunshin it requires hundreds and hundreds of clones and is a forbidden jonin leveljutsu

He obviously can't make that amount of clones, my rough guess would be about less than five. Yeah but he started off with one clone, and the original wasn't in the panel. He attacked Naruto, Naruto grabbed him, and then it poofed away.

Naruto did not realize he made a clone which is why he said "Think you're trying to pull one on your old man?" and he makes the sign for the KB jutsu as well XD XD

Then the shot goes outward and we see Boruto, and one clone of his. So he only made two in total.

It probably has to do with Boruto being less of an Uzumaki than Naruto, not being a Jinchuriki, and wasn't Naruto's chakra mixed with the Kyuubi's to enhance it? Yeah I always thought Naruto was pretty smart in battle too, but he always showcased himself being dumb at times, like remember when he forgot Nagato could absorb chakra XD

I'm hoping Boruto is actually an intelligent fighter and a thinker, that would be a nice change of pace if we actually have an MC who doesn't rely on power of friendship. I agree, honestly I'm scared for Bolt because the ads are like "he will surpass the legend" other crap like that, so I'm hoping Kishimoto does not force some BS power up on him or anything like DMS Kakashi :wesobi:
