I'm a Batman fan & I dont like the rest of DC, I'm a marvel fan for life , I happy about this news tho , but if they dont find a Batman as good as Bale, lol they wont have a chance in hell to beat Avengers unless they fvck up . This one is a make or brake for DC .

Here's what I said before.

I wanna talk some Superman/Batman. Here are some random opinions I have.

First off, I'm VERY excited. This is like a dream. It's awesome. No matter the concerns I have, I'll be passed out when seeing Batman giving the "**** you" stare to Superman. Moving on.

I really hope it's called or has World's Finest somewhere in the title. That'd be top.

This is something I wouldn't have done. I would've made this the third installment instead of the second. Man of Steel was setting up Superman's character. The ending of that film, SPOILER, had two major things happening. One, Superman killed Zod, and Two, Superman set his Clark Kent persona up for The Daily Planet.

Superman killing Zod sets up his noble, anti-kill mindset. He not only killed a man, but he killed the last member of his race, not counting the face Faora and the rest of the crew were sent to the Phantom Zone via Elliot Stabler. This entire thing makes Superma who he is. Man of Steel would be the prelude to his status quo, Man of Steel 2 would've been that status quo (Thanks Captain Logan from Geekvolution for using that specific term), and whatever after that would just be more wheels turning with a set Superman. That ties in with the Clark Kent persona. We didn't see much of Superman's regular support cast because he wasn't in his usual area, The Daily Planet. We would've seen more in the standard aka, my and others vision Man of Steel 2. We may still get that, but with Batman in it, I doubt it. Will we get Batman's supporting cast too? Who knows? I doubt it, but we'll see. Also, I do not want Batman being part of Superman maturing. That feels wrong. They should both be men with certain ideals and minsets, not Batman being Batman already and Superman not being figured out yet. I'm pretty sure we'll have Superman figured out in Man of Steel 2, but I wish we had a movie inbetween this to just show us that. It's easy to figure out, but it'd be nice to have a movie showing it.

However, as Captain Logan pointed out which I never thought about, this opens Batman to a new world. We'll get an established Batman. No more origin. No more Batman's parents getting shot. We'll, and this is really important, get Batman in a world where we can throw out realistic stuff. We can get villains like Clayface, Poison Ivy, and Mister Freeze. We could get the actual Lazurus put. JASON TODD #2015 YO. It's all more possible since there is no more boundaries. We could very well have seen realistic versions of them and it could've been top, but now it's more open, which is cool.

Anyways, I've very excited for this. This can do wonders for Batman. I feel like it's not the right move for Superman, but we'll see. This is going to be a huge move and I cannot wait. Superman and Batman! Also, I really hope we get Jimmy Olsen. We would've been guaranteed him with golden scenes with Lois and Clark, but I feel we won't get as many with Batman in the mix. I don't want to end negative though because this is awesome. SUPERMAN. BATMAN. JIMMY OLSEN. #2015



Those are just some thoughts I have. Just talk opinions, concerns, hopes, etc... and stuff here if you want.

I'd like to add KGB Kakuzu's idea to have the movie set a few years after the events in MOS and reference how Superman changed as a man.

Overall, this movie will sell greatly. I'm very excited and I don't think you can compare Avengers to Batman/Superman since Avengers was a bigger team in an established franchise. This only has Man of Steel going into it. I loved Man of Steel, so we'll see.
