What do you feel when you watch old Naruto Episodes?

Hey guys,

just rewatched a few of the old Naruto fights, like Konoha vs. Kakuzu and Hidan, Sasuke vs. Deidara, Team 7 vs. Zabuza and haku... The Anime/Manga was just so much better before the war-arc. Tactics and no op Jutsus. Do you guys like the old Episodes more aswell or do you favor the war arc? What were your favorite battles in the Anime?

Just wanted too share my nostalgia :lol

Lol war arc sucked so bad. Nearly ruined all of shippuden for me

Kakashi and the Ino shika chou trio against kakuzu and hidan is one of my personal fav fights and one I revisit often, the roof top nardo and sauce fight(though quick) is also one of my favs. And killer b vs sauce, that was one hell of a sword fight imo

Yep, everything just felt better back then, even if I don't favor Naruto's character, it just felt good when he rasenshurikend Kakuzu in the back or when Sasuke managed too evade Deidara's final jutsu even if some haters concider it asspull it just felt good and gave the Anime substance.

Yep it kind of did, everything felt rushed and so many things were kind of left unanswered. I would have loved too see a conversation between Kakashi and Sasuke for example. Kishi just wanted too finish the series asap...

Pre-War Arc was never better IMO, just different. The War Arc signalled a complete evolution of the story.

The War Arc wasn't rushed it either; read it through and you'll find it's actually very well paced. Most people saying that will have been following the manga one chapter at a time, week by week. And strategy was prevalent too, right through to the Kaguya Arc.

I appreciate your opinion but don't you feel all those new enemies that appeared all of a sudden like madara and kaguya gave the story a lack of substance? I mean everything just felt really deep before the war-arc. All of a sudden all of the Sasuke vs Naruto build up felt unnecessary and cast aside. Those last few chapters that were about Sasuke and Naruto just felt unsatisfying imo.

Both. I liked fights from part 1 to part 2, even quite a few good fights in the war.
