What do you expect of the Hokage?

Hello everyone.

Yes, I'm once again trying to start a discussion here. I know it'll probably drown in the endless ocean of power level contests and pairing wars, but I just can't help trying. Now that I've managed to sound pretentious and annoy you all, I want to know what you expect of the Hokage? (and Kakko-sama knows I'm expecting people to come with less-than-intelligent replies about how they will "f*ck sh*t up" and the like)

That means, what do you think they will do? What will their reactions be? Will they just stand around and talk to Sasuke for whatever reason, or will they join Orochimaru involuntarily? He said he has no interest in the war, so I can't imagine why he'd send them off and let them help Naruto, unless they manage to pull a juicy Talk no Jutsu. And I honestly don't want Naruto to get even more help - a theme in this war has been about the whole 'previous generations being surpassed', not to mention it's basically the entire world vs two guys, so adding four more power houses feels like an overkill.

I want Minato to get at least upset at someone being out for his son's blood. I also want Hiruzen to get angry at Orochimaru and try and stop him once more. I don't really want anything from Hashirama and Tobirama honestly, I'd rather they stay legendary (and I still don't understand what Tobirama is legendary for. He's popular among the fandom but he has had basically no screen time to speak of). Also, IF they manage to fight, I don't want Minato to have any fox powers and I want to see Hiruzen prove how many jutsu he has, although I'm still not sure they'll actually take part in any fighting anytime soon - I know I may very well be wrong.

Thank you for taking your time. Let's try and stay clear of power level debates and focus more on what they will do, how and why.

Ps: Also, will Orochimaru get Uchiha'd for the fourth and final time?

I doubt that they'll let Minato get revived without Naruto being able to talk to him once more.

And then just disappear again? I must say that is an appealing idea, this arc has dragged on for a very long time and it has been rather chaotic. Still, I don't understand why they'd help Sasuke when he's trying to destroy their precious village for some reason.

Still, I doubt it. Reviving those four is kind of a big deal, I don't think they were brought back just to fade away again - if so they'd probably have pulled something a bit more subtle like just 'contacting' them on the other side.

Sasuke will have his questions answered, the ones he asked himself after Itachi passed on, again.

After that, it's all up for theories. They can somehow release ET, and whoop Madara, continue their journeys with Oro, for whatever reason or they can go back to the afterlife once Sasuke gets his questions answered. Heck, Oro can make them fight against Naruto & co.

While I agree that seems...inevitable, why would he be there? If he is not in control of his body and Orochimaru has no interest in the war?

Granted, Tobirama supposedly created the jutsu so he might be able to break them all free, but still - what more is there to be said between Minato and Naruto? What, should Minato stick around long enough to see his son become Hokage?

I feel like somehow, Tobirama will break the edo tensei, and free the others from it. They will then proceed to stop Madara, then they be sealed up willingly because they don't want to stay.

OT: I think they will talk to Sasuke about the village. Hiruzen will tell Sasuke he cared for him greatly(as he did) and Minato will tell him he was friends with Sasuke's parents(as he was). This will make Sasuke happy Sasuke again and he goes and helps Naruto.

No idea really just me making stuff up!

Minato will most likely explain the "masked man" incident.

Remember, Minato knows it's an Uchiha who was behind it, and Sasuke will surely recognise who he's on about. While it's a small speech, it's somewhat relevant. Plus, that relates to the Uchiha's coup d'etat. After the 9 tails attack, the Uchiha were discriminated because the village thought they were behind it, ultimately leading to their assassination.

Will they do it because Orochimaru forces them or because their knowledge might change Sasuke's mind? Sasuke is there and not destroying it. So what does that tell you . I think Orochimaru still cares for Konoha but doesn't care to admit it. He could have easily destroyed Konoha without his hands. The kage will be forced to talk to him but not forced to say what Orochimaru wants.

But can he really force them to talk? I'm not trying to oppose you guys, I'm just not convinced since we don't have any evidence supporting that theory. As far as we know, he can control their bodies and suppress personalities, but we haven't seen anything about making people talk.
