The Uchiha clan is preety strong as they have mastered genjutsu but the strongest clan in Naruto is Hyuga. They can use the byakugan and the gentle fist. Byakugan helps them see at 360 degrees of vision. The byakugan users can detect anything around them within a small radius, the greater the users skill with byakugan is the longer the radius is which makes them close combat experts, also it helps them see through objects etc.
The Gentle Fist is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyuga clan. It inflicts internal damage through attacking the body's Chakra Pathway System, subsequently injuring organs which are closely intertwined with the area of the network which has been struck. To do this, the user surgically injects a certain amount of their own chakra into the opponent's chakra pathway system, causing damage to surrounding organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage. So Hyuga clan FTW.

It's glaringly obvious that the strongest clan in Naruto is the Uchiha. Merely observe how the Rikudo referred to his younger son as a 'failure'—the Senju—and his older the 'genius'—the Uchiha.​

Out of Senju, only Hashirama and his inherited physical characteristics matter. Tsunade is a fodder, and Tobirama was defeated by some Genkau, whatever, Henkaku psedu-jins, with tools that surprisingly, the genius Tobirama could not beat.

Uchiha are potentially the strongest clan, but none of them aside Madara could reveal the secret behind their MS/EMS potential. And i doubt many will go ahead and just start killing their best friends, or be able to find extreme emotional stress. Something like that just does not lie around the floor.

Uzumaki were a clan that practicied very powerful fuinjutsu, and all had a great amount of chakra. If i am not mistaken, fuinjutsu demands even more intellect that genjutsu (oh poor Naruto lol...). They did not need some sort of vague power-up as MS-trade for emotional stress. And they were most feared and got destroyed.

Hands down, Uzumaki.

I think as a clan, either the Senju or Uzumaki clan are the strongest ones. But which clan members have the most potential? Obviously the Uchiha, just look at Madara or Sasuke.
