Out of interest, where are you getting the idea that someone is on top of the cage? Are you referring to when Luffy and Law looked up? I thought this was just so that they could see and acknowledge that the cage was still up and Doffy wasn't defeated... Unless I missed something.

it looks like moria and they said he disappeared or at least what doffy said to them.. tho doffy was last one to c him and doffy be able to low diff moria well tech beyond neg diff (he had like 4 pacifistas with him).. if luffy prehaki could defeat him. and he was injured

That's awesome! Completely went past me that did, could quite possibly be some foreshadowing there

Doffy did mention that his body turned into bats and flew away and that was a power he was unaware his fruit could do or something... I always thought he was telling the truth just because I thought that would actually be a good way to keep Moriah as a character but to think that it was a lie and that he turned him into a toy is amazing! haha
