i had a thought that there might be a konan paralel for obito. he went to see her to get the rinnegan and thats what madara is doing. she was stabbed with a black rod too. then he might try killing himself to troll madara like kisame did.

Yeah, this is probably gonna set-up for obito's death, it makes sense because he wont be able to go back to the leaf as a good guy, so he'll probably protect sakura & die or he'll jump in the way & get hit then sasuke will come some-how, and Naruto will fight limo madara
