Or they might require a hell of a lot more chakra, Madara had infinite chakra, so maybe it was easy for him to use it that way.

yeah, i also believe that when you already have susanoo , then you gain EMS, after this you can create the Perfect Susanoo with training or anger like we've seen before...

i dont know where, madara used it before though....
