From as early as I could remember I wanted to be a train driver. I was fascinated by the London underground tube system (my mum says that's what started my maths passion lol). I knew the tube map off by heart and could tell you the quickest way - and all the different ways - to get to any station. I guess I kinda grew out of that when I was around the age of 7ish.
After that I wanted to be a footballer (soccer player for the non-Europeans). Watched Ronaldinho play and was inspired. I used to play 4 hours a day minimum and ended up being pretty good for my age as a result. Once I had trials with a professional team (Queens Park Rangers

) I decided football wasn't for me - it's not as enjoyable when it's all about the results - especially when my style of play ,influenced by Ronaldinho, wasn't that popular in the UK (they prefer more athletic players). I guess that was my dream from around 9-13/14 years old.
After that I just pursued maths because it was something I really enjoyed and felt that I was really good at. Had loads of fun doing maths competitions such as the Maths Challenge and the Olympiad. I then picked up Game Theory (no, I'm not talking about video games, it's a branch of psychology. Look it up.), economics and history. Not even gonna lie, Death Note and Liar Game actually played a part in this. I got more interested in politics too. These things all lead to me looking for a career in the financial industry. Did some work experience at 15 and realized that's where my talents lie.
I'm 19 now (20 this month lol woo) and so I guess I'm still a kid in most countries. I have an internship at one of the Bulge Bracket Banks (if u kno u kno

if u don't kno, get to kno) where I'm learning how to "stunt or die" at a professional level.
I recently realised that I really enjoy writing, and I've always had a small kind of dream of writing a book. Dunno what it'll be about but I'll get round to that one day. Might set up business too. Who knows.
