I think it's the third best movie of these movies..
But that's also kind of because the standard up until that point wasn't very good.
The movie had some FANTASTIC ideas, but unfortunately failed to utilize them probably.
The idea of the straw hats landing on a island that is designed to manipulate them and play them up against each other, was a great idea.
It was just a shame it wasn't empathised more, made more clear it was in fact the island itself trying to set the straw hat up against each other, and then have the solution not to be Luffy soloing ones again, but the straw hats finding back together and forgive each other to make a collected stand as a group.
That would have been a far more satiesfying conclusion to this honestly good idea.. but because the movie suddenly forgot about all of this and just got rid of them, their previous fights ends up just being meaingless and kind of there.
I would have loved it if it was a bit more obvious that that is what the island itself is trying to do, perhaps one of the inmates could whisper to Usopp that they heard the others call him a coward behind his back, which would make him sad and angry and then confront some-one else, whom would also be manipulated by the island and go on.
Until they all figure out they have been played because some on at the island goes to far and the straw hats realises that NONE in their crew would behave like that.
I would have loved to see that movie, where that idea is actually utilized to its fullest.
It's a good idea of how to involve more strawhats into the plot, not just Luffy and make it about them, but ones again, the movie seems to forget all of this mid way through and thusly there is no resolve to it, therefore their fights seems pointless and even kind of hurtful.
There's some good action scenes in there, I like some of their alternative outfitts and Luffys final fight is pretty badass.
All though, this time it just makes me wonder just how great the movie could have been if the good ideas had been fully utilized and explored.
Great potential, sadly, it never lived up to its own potential.
