Last chapter, Obito seems to clearly reveal the Moons Eye Plan to Yahiko, Nagato and Konan but later says to him self this here...

From my point of view, it seems Obito's true intentions do not lie with Madaras Dream World. I have been saying this on people's post for a few chapters now, but I think this page nearly confirms it. Obito is going to betray Madara, if he hasnt already. Not betray him by killing him and becoming a good guy, but betray him by not following Madara's plan. Obito's only objective is Rin, he doesnt care about anyone else, he wants to create a world where she exists, he doesnt care if anyone else lives or dies.

My suspicions started here...

I get it, Kabuto may not know about everything between Madara and Obito, but as a writer, why even put that statement in there? And why would Kabuto think that in the first place. He seems to be well informed and at this point im not sure there is anything him and Oro dont know about. My only other guess would be hes trying to turn Madara against Obito.

Then theres this...

I know what youre saying, "well he was trying to be Madara, so thats why hes so upset Kabuto summoned him." I get it, and thats very likely, but what ive wondered for some time now, is why is Obito so distraught about Madara being summoned as an Edo? Why does he care so much? Madara being brought back as an invincible Zombie seems like it would benefit Obito as well. The war has already started and as Obito states, he doesnt care about his name anymore, he squeezed everything out of that alias that he could. What he is concerned about is the fact that Madara is back roaming around. Obito never wanted him to come back...

Finally there is this...

This is probably the least solid evidence I have, but it still supports my point. Here Obito says the Rinne Tensei was supposed to be used for me, not us (as Madara's will is sitting right there)

In conclusion here is what I think Obito is doing.

He saw Rin die and wants to bring her back. Madara said in his world he could bring people back from the dead. Obito cares only about that, nothing else. He wanted to use Madara's (Nagato's) rinnegan to bring Rin back, but before he did he wanted to make sure nothing would ever happen to her again, so he needed to create a world where nothing could hurt her aka Project Tsukiyomi (spelling?). He never planned on reviving Madara, I dont know what he fears from Madara, but now that Madara is back, Obito is going to betray him.

Obito can't betray Madara because Madara was the one that told him of the MEP and how he could create a perfect world. And Madara most likely has already accounted for Obito and if he betrays him.But everything else seems legit

Yeah I think it's referring to the whole Bijuu Mass Weapon of Destruction plan. However, I would love for there to be some secret motive by Obito that remains to be unseen. I don't think it's going to kept simple though...

I get the fact that Obito could mean Moons Eye, and Nagato thinks huge weapons plan, I thought about that too, but....

These two pages say go agaist that notion. It seems like he pretty clearly describes the world he wants to create, one that sounds nothing like Nagato vision. Also he says "Im sure you dont know my true plan though" right after the encounter, before the giant weapon scheme has even been thought of...He explains the Dream World than right after explains that its not his true plan

Read the theory. I thnik its because he didnt want to bring her back into a world where she could get hurt again. He wants the dream world, just doesnt care if Madara is in it or not.
oh i didnt read it all it was too long but if he brought her back in a dream world just think its not really her if he wanted what was best he would just bring her really back to life because with tsukyomi it would all just be an illusion

Haha, ya youre right, but I have a feeling Obito doesnt see it that way..

Edit: Oh I see what youre saying.. I think he wants to bring her back, with Rinne Tensei. So she would actually be alive, then when she is back he wants to make the world a dream world so that nothing will be able to hurt her again.

But then what was the idea of the weapons plan? I highly doubt Nagato was lying just for the sake of it. Everybody was against him anyways so the result would be the same. I repped you nonetheless.
First, thank you for the rep.

But to your point. I think Nagato still believed in Yahiko's ideals. That the world could only come together through understanding and "shedding the same tears". Some where along the way, he adopted the ideal that the only way people could come together is through pain. After Yahiko died, he went to Tobi, not because he necassarily believed in the dream world, but because he knew if he wanted to control his rinnegan he would need Tobi's help.

Tobi presented the idea of the dream world, told Nagato to meet him there when he came to realize the truth in the world, I dont believe he had anything to do with the giant weapon plan. Nagato came up with his idea completely on his own, through the inspiration of Yahiko, he just needed Tobi to achieve it.

I completely agree that Tobito has another plan. I noticed those things too.

Madara and Tobito definitely don't trust each other and it seems as though they are working together currently just because it is more convenient for them to do so. One will betray the other eventually and I am sure they are both aware of that and have accounted for it. They both plan things very carefully and will not be taken by surprise.
