Is it the level of hatred, character, color symbolism? Does it even have a meaning?
The level of butthurt you have achieved with purple being the most intense and green (shisui) being the least
This may sound like a joke but honestly it sounds plausible
That would explain why Indra's is purple. But truth be told, black would have served his darkness better.
Well yeah indra was the most butthurt, then sasuke, then madara, then itachi wasn't hurt but he had a little bit of hatred for the village making him kill the uchiha, then shisui who never had to do anything that made him resent
Its random, or so I'd imagine.
I doubt it kishi work is heavy with symbolism maybe represent mood colors
Interesting tho characters like obito madara sasuke all fall in far right spectrum, itachi is in far left and shisui color wise is in middle. So it could in way represent paths they choose to take.
Kishi's coloring pencils
I wish Madara's Susanoo was red.
A red susanoo would actually look good with his armor and it's a more sinister color. It would have to be a dark red though.

I doubt it. If it was so important, not only would the colors fully translate into the anime like they were in the manga, but Kishi would have bothered to give someone like Kakashi a proper color instead of leaving that for the anime to cover.
