well what would make naruto uzumaki better is if he had awesome looking clothes like what sasuke wears and if he had a better hair style and also if he had a vast arsenal of jutsu and had more than one affinity and was able to do kekkei genkai techs and did more handsigns and used kunai and shuriken more.

More epic fights. For example, Kakashi vs Pre Juubi Obito in the Kamui dimension could have been way longer, but instead Kishi cut it short. And Edo Madara vs Edo Hashi was off panel (if anything even happened).
