Because it's interesting. Theirs a scientific reason as to why people see different things. It's a total mind-**** aswell. Why do you care so much about the wether or not people are interested?

The only thing scientific about it is lighting and exposure which was most likely altered in photoshop. Dress colors have already been confirmed by the creators anyhow.

I do have a white shirt with butterflies. It changes its color when expose to sunlight.
