what clan is zetsu from

i was woundering for a fanfic

Zetsu's history is pretty much a complete mystery at this point. There is nothing in the manga that refers to his past, where he came from or what clan he is in. In some Shippuden card game, his card says hes from Konoha, but that of course is not anything close to being reliable.

I was actually making a fan fic that had something to do with Zetsu. In my story the setting was a long time after what is happening now and took place in a village called Hanagakue, or the village hidden in the flowers. The story was going to be that the village was created by Madara during the 4th great ninja war and Zetsu was named the kage. Since then the village had become more peaceful and the main character was of Zetsu's bloodline. He was going to restore honor to that clan's name.

But I sort of gave up on that one after a couple of chapters.

That hasn't be confirmed yet, his origin is even more mysterious than the fact that he's a schizophrenic, cannibalistic plant.

Though most people say he's from the Hidden Grass Village due to his similarities plant-grass.

I would most likely assume he'd be like a Shinobi mixed with a crazy alien tragedy or something. ;P as you see one eye is different then the other something un-natural had probably happened to him. ;P

I can't even figure out if Zetsu is one schizo person or siamese twins. LOL!

Much is unknown with him. He could prolly some shinobi that's been experimented, or his condition might be because of a bizarre mutation (either early in his prenatal development or just started sprouting post-natal wise at any age). He could prolly came from anywhere, in any village--most likely hidden grass or leaf or any earthly kind of village.

Otherwise, he's like a fusion of an aloe vera and human being to me.
