What characters do you wish had died in the main story?

Okay, Sakura should have died and ...

- No one could have figured out Intangibility and Obito's mask never would have been broken, nor could he have been overwhelmed.
- White Zetsu would have killed all the medics, thus ending the war.
- Thousands of people would have died if Sakura had not created Katsuya footholds with Tsunade.
- Kankaru would have died.
- Sasori never would have been defeated and Gaara would have died.

Let's quit with the undue Sakura hate. It's getting annoying.

Hinata is relevant in plot of The Last.

I don't care. It's just a damn romantic movie. Neji died in her place, when he could have fulfilled his role for his clan's and his own liberation from the taint of second class treatment.

I kinda wish Oro have died instead of the ending he got. Did he even get an an 'ending'?
The Gokages should have died when Madara left them. They served no purpose in the war expect for wasting panels, and overshadowing other characters (e.g, Tsunade when she healed Shikamaru instead of Sakura)
Gai should have died too.

I would say Sakura... I think that would have been an opportunity to give her character a lot more depth, plus it could have played a large factor in Sasuke's redemption or Naruto and Sasuke's fight. Not to mention that it would be a very interesting twist, killing off the main heroine.

It would have been a good twist and would have added more of an intense and dramatic tone to the Manga and war arc overall. But it seems Kishi lacks the guts to kill off characters (expect for Neji, we didn't see any serious casualties in this arc). So I don't see him killing a Main one.

I don't even get why Kishi allowed them to survive. Their role in the story was over, and all of them reached the decision that working together instead of fighting was for the best of the elemental nations. The most shifty eyed one of them Oonoki realized it before Madara even came onto the scene.

Kishi just didn't have the balls to kill them off, it appears.

I completely agree. Their roles were over. I have no idea why Kishimoto decided to badger us with Onoki and Raikage, or Kakashi, and their redundant speeches.

I could of respected them all a bit more of they died then. At least they went out fighting for what they believe, instead of living and doing practically nothing afterward. Kakashi should of been killed ages ago. The only purpose I could really think of for him was combating Obito, after he got his reunion with Obito. After Obito reluctantly changed sides, I don't see why he was allowed to remain. Madara should of taken his head off when he took Kakashi's eye.

I'd rather Obito have taken him out, honestly. His entire shift to Naruto's side was out of character and just dumb. He essentially killed his mentor, attacked his village and killed who knows how many there. Helped destroy the last of his kin, and then take over management of the bloodiest regime in the ninja world. Yet, less then fifteen minutes from accomplishing his goal he decides to have a turn of heart. .

It's sort of not with this thread, since he already died. But I wish Obito died a hell of a lot sooner.
