What character(or fan base) fell off the most?

IMO.. Nagato. Nagato was probably the most over hype character by his fans. People use to say Nagato could own BM Naruto, EMS Sasuke, and even give Edo Tensei Madara (before the Perfect Susano'o) a fight.

You don't even see Nagato threads anymore.

well you can say that he is not a threat anymore bcos he is dead. but who knows what kishi pulls next out of his as$. if he comes back (possibility almost 0%) then he might even help sasuke master his rinnegan!
