Well he does have a Rinnengan and a MS capable of using Kamui, so he isn't as helpless as you think regardless of black Zetsu restricting his movements, he is at at disadvantage being with a ninja who is incapable of fighting a ninja of Madara's caliber so he will find himself trying to cover for both of them.

Obito isnt helpless.. its just that he cant keep holding back black zetsu.. i expect that sakura and obito together will hold him off for a while and then black zetsu will take over taking the rinnegan and using the last of his energy he teleports sakura and himself out of the kamui dimension where he then die and sais his final words and gives kakashi his other sharingan :|

Great theory, and what do you expect from Kishi? Anything can be possible since Madara is the final villain ( Maybe Kaguya ), but as it seems he needs two of his Rinnegan to complete the eye moon plan and while fighting Naruto and Sasuke.
