Actually, technically the egg came first. As it is part of a chicken's biological definition to be hatched from an egg, so even the first chicken would not be a "true" chicken.

Incorrect, the first chicken was created (by God), not made/hatched.

The eggs, seeing as how all organism are formed from an egg, cells came together to create an egg of some sort then it spawn the chicken, or the chicken's ancestor, then an egg laying organism was formed.

This is not up for debate (This has already been put to rest)

The "chicken" came first.

It has been established that the egg's vital components can only be produced by the chicken.

The chicken first appeared down the line of evolution (which boils down to change over time.)

The chicken mutated from its predecessor and began the line of the chickens we know of today through eggs.

Evolution. Something that wasn't quite a chicken gave birth to a chicken then the chicken laid a egg.

Logic 101

Partially False, a chicken must be produced by an egg. A genera closely related to the chicken would have hatched the first true chicken.

The first chicken was hatched from an egg, however the first "chicken egg" would have come from a chicken.

Organisms spawned from cells, cells create eggs, eggs hatch or grow into an organism.
Therefore the egg came first.
@PaintotheEarth
I didn't even watch the video, this is all femme logic.

Depends on your worldview. Do you believe in evolution or creation?

Evolutionists tend to say the egg came first.
Creationists tend to say the chicken came first.

Everyone says the Chicken came first...but without the Egg the Chicken wouldn't have been born nor able to lay said egg.

So you tell me.

The chickens can from one of the many closely related genera of winged bipedals.

The first chicken would come from the egg of said genus. So in that respect, the chicken was hatched from the egg, so the "egg" came first.

However the first "true" chicken egg would have been from the first chicken, which is the product of a potentially non-chicken egg.

Atoms create cells and cells form groups which create material forms. Of course it has to grow and evolve so the embryo had to be created first then the cells created the shell form. As it matured the first chickens were made.

So the egg technically. It has nothing to do with religious views.
