Sasuke has never really been evil he was just misguided "a blank canvas that was easily dyed any color". If it had been kakashi who had got to him before obito who knows maybe he wouldve went back to the village but thats besides the point

The point is that sasuke has always been about cleansing the uchiha name and restoring honor to his clan which is why he wanted to kill itachi other than revenge...
What better way could there be to make people respect and honor the uchiha name then to have one as the leader of their village??? That in my eyes is the best possible way to respect itachi's which is what he wants to do now that he knows the truth about everything. STOP all this hate sasuke is justified in his decision it makes perfect sense

Like i said before he is misguided and influeneced. I dont recall him getting hiruzen killed as he was trying to defend sakura from gaara at the time. I admit yeah he did attack the kages but he was doing so in order to get to danzo. The only reason he caught bee was for obito who was minipulating his young mind thus causing Raikage to loose his arm. But he has also done good things as of lately and maybe killing the one who started it all would redeem him

If Itachi was alive, he could become Hokage. Sasuke, on the other hand, was (well, technically still is) a missing-nin, whose objective was to crush Konoha.

He joined Orochimaru, and almost killed Naruto at VoTE (putting a f*cking Chidori through his chest). He joined him willingly. He then went on to refuse Team 7's numerous attempts to bring him back repeatedly.

He joined Akatsuki, and attacked the five Kages. It's like attacking a G7 summit. It's a huge crime. He also attempted to kidnap and kill B, the Raikage's brother.

He killed Danzo, the Sixth Hokage Candidate.

Sasuke has too large a criminal record to ever become Hokage. The villagers didn't want to vote for Madara, who hadn't committed any crimes, and was the Uchiha Clan Head. Hell, Hashirama himself endorsed him. There is no way that the Fire Daimyo will nominate him for the position, or that the Jounin will vote him in. The Hokage represents the village, and Sasuke... He has too much shit on him to ever take the position, especially when there are other candidates like Naruto and Kakashi. Kakashi is a respected ninja all over the world (the Copy Nin), and Naruto is not only the hero of Konoha, but has now become a worldwide hero (he's the reason the Shinobi Alliance is still standing).

The answer is still no. At the end of the day, Sasuke is still more concerned about himself than he is the people of Konoha making him a very bad choice. Just because he had a change of heart doesn't erase all the crimes he commited all for his own agendas. And by the way, Sasuke didn't stop Edo tensei. If he hadn't seen Itachi, he probably would have never bothered. Itachi defeated Kabuto who had planned on doing it with or without him. And what are you talking about Naruto and the Hokages vouching for him? Maybe as far as to accept him back but not as Hokage. Naruto isn't going to give up his life long dream that easily after he's been working so hard. Minato isn't going to vote for Sasuke over his own son, and Tobirama is clearly an Uchiha hater who was ready to destroy Sasuke if he were allowed to. Plus its still questionable that Orchimaru's is being a good guy at the moment. He could turn on them at any given moment and likely will.

first of all all the hokages dont know the negative sasuke has done the only know the helping with the war stuff secondly itachi clearly wouldve lost if he hadnt had the backup from sasuke they did it toghether as brothers.
thirdly naruto loves having a rival so who better to compete with for the hokage title then sasuke. Minato doesnt know naruto anymore than he knows sasuke... hes been sealed for years!

Why would the Hokages help Sasuke become Hokage, they have no reason to, they just wanted him to let go of his hatred.

And Naruto isn't going to endorse Sasuke for Hokage either, he made that clear in the last chapter.
