I think G4 is currently a great ace and nothing else. Once Luffy masters G4, he'll be a powerhouse.

It's pretty awesome to me. I laughed when he debuted it, it was just so in character for Luffy but not what you'd expect.

I like the great speed Gear 4th seems to come with. He was practically blitzing Doffy cross-country (small country) and the concept of the elasticity and tensile strength is very clever. It being called Boundman makes me hope that there are other forms to Gear 4th.

I would also love to hear Luffy's thought process when developing these gears though, especially the latest one. The man's an idiot but this technique is not something an idiot should be coming up with.

I understand that, it's why I like Luffy so much and I'm interested in character and his decisions. The moment he punched Vivi and ranted to her proves more than anything that he's not an idiot, he just comes off as one mainly because there are so many things that he doesn't know mainly cause he's not interested in them. Logic doesn't matter to Luffy since he just keeps doing things until he prevails.

Either way, I do believe there's more to G4 then just Bounceman. I'd like to see what the "idiot" genius has up his sleeve next.
