Whenever i see her face i feel sorry for her. Her life is fked up big time. she was forced as a jinchuuriki and then died by the hand of her loved one. she killed herself for the village. respect for that. she died as a kid. . i respect the character a lot

Absolute garbage. Her only purpose was to give Obito and Kakashi some character development. I wouldn't even call her a character, id call her a plot device.

She's not really a character tbh, just a plot device. And considering how the last 50 chapters of the manga or so were focused on her due to Obito's BS creepy obsession over a little girl and us having to watch Obito moan about Rin left and right, she's not exactly one of my favorities.

When it comes to being a ninja, she was fodder but still she had a likable personality of someone who wasn't selfish, cared for her friends and wasn't insensitive towards other's feeling and situation. She threw away her life to protect the village so even though weak she wasn't a coward either.

I hated Obito's constant wank over her, and I hated that she got no development, but most characters outside of naruto and sasuke didn't, and the plot of the series was so rushed that she suffered from it too.

We hardly knew anything about her, but she had potential. More potential than most females shown. She showed genuine care for her comrades, she had true shinobi skills and resolve (yanking a dying Obito's eye out in the middle of a combat zone is hardcore af), and she was willing to die for her village and the people she loved.

I like her design too. Shame she was little more than a plot device and satellite character for Kakashi and Obito's fallout/bromance.

Pretty sweet, considerate kid who genuinely was there for the underdog (so not Sakura) Didn't deserve to be turned into a giant one-eyed Turtle. Nobody really does.
