What are your thoughts on Orochimaru...

Just what can he be up to? He claims he's interested in the path Sasuke will take.

In my opinion Orochimaru must have a plan. I don't believe that he just chose to side with Sasuke after everything that has happened. Also I think he may have some kind of connection with Madara. He can be the biggest snake in the entire manga and end up being the final villain somehow.


What are your thoughts on Orochimaru? What do you think he's planning?

I think oro indeed has a plan or he might just retire and just work on research (killing ppl hereand there for expiremants etc)
But I think oro was still on evil until he finds out tsunade's hurt then he's gonna wanna kill madara
Can he do tht alone .... Maybe I mean he does have his arms back senju DNA and 3 Edo kage complelty under his control one of witch just made debute in the war

Not to mention hashirama is gunning for madara at moment

So I mean madara better watch his back I know he's strong as **** but to have an alliance after u an angry Edo hashirama after u and if orochimaru finds out tsunade is close to death an enraged orochimaru with 3 Edo kage after u u gonna need an escape root...

You're correct, he does have a plan. He still wants Sasuke's body. Despite him being itnerested in Sasuke's new path, I doubt he'll so easily give up his own life goal. It would take a major event to do that.

He's just trying to get rid of a common enemy, make sure the ideal vessel survives, and await a few years. Pending on how things go, of course.

He's possibly more virtuous and understanding, realizing what he did was wrong. But I doubt he'd flip like that, he may acknowledge his mistakes, but he can rationalize it that it's for the greater good.

But then again, there's also a good chance that he may make his own descision based on how Sasuke performs on the battlefield, and how he handles himself working along his old comrades. I can imagine Orochimaru looking at Sasuke, and thinking of a younger version of himself.

If what I just said is the case, he's probably seeing if Sasuke can make up for his mistakes, and reconnect with old comrades then he might be able to, to. Or if he can even bare to work with them, and vice versa. So, for this case Orochimaru's waiting to see how Sasuke DOES turn out.

And find out whether or not it's possibly to actually change his life style up, so he doesn't end up like Kabuto. I don't be stuck in Izanami, I mean a sad shell of a human with little or no real goal. Just sort of hanging on to a small part of life, to get meaning from it.

Either or, Orochimaru's a great character.

I think he is the biggest wild card right now. He can turn to any side, and plus I remember him telling Sasuke he still wants his body! However if he does turn bad, I want 3rd hokage to defeat him (since he now has unlimited chakra--something that was limiting him before). Plus it gives closure to 3rd.
