I'm assuming by now that you heard Eminem's latest album, what are your thoughts on it? Good, bad, meh?

Personally, I feel that it's a dope album. Not as epic as The Eminem Show but man it's genius!

Favourite Tracks: Rap God, Survival, Headlights, Legacy, Stronger Than I Was

It's by far my favorite Eminem album. I've been listening to it for a couple of weeks by now and still haven't gotten tired of it. The wordplay and references are just phenomenal. The amount of emotion Em put in this album is amazing to me, I listen to the songs and you can just feel the passion in his words. The only song that I found mediocre was Desperation but I still like it.

Favorite song off the album was Bad Guy. It's such a great sequel to the song Stan and the last verse about Eminem's insecurities is dope. Legacy comes 2nd for me but I found just about every song good f***in great. I'm a longtime Eminem fan and I'm glad he didn't disappoint with this album. I don't usually buy albums but I had to buy this one.

I 100% agree with you man, this was like Recovery on another level! Lol, Em has always been one that puts all of his emotions into his songs that is why he is my favourite rapper.

It's not really a Slim Shady-esque album in my opinion, he's mature so he doesn't go all out with disses and sh*t. But still, this album is defiantly in my fave five.

:yay: Glad you understand, some people are intimidated by Em's raw emotion but for me, it's been one of his strongest assets as a rapper.

And it's true that it doesn't have that Slim Shady feel to it but in Evil Twin, I think he makes it clear that Shady isn't the one on the album. The way I see it, Slim Shady and Eminem are all part of the same coin that would be called Marshal Mathers. Eminem has his different personas that he uses to match what he's rapping about and his flows. Marshal is more of Eminem's "mature" side but we still see him throwing out disses in Berzerk and Evil Twin. Nonetheless, it's a great album and one of my top 5 as well.

So I really like that he has shown he has matured and his ability to spit verses still makes me be like damn
Him and tip are my top two for lyrics.

It's his 3rd best album behind MMLP1 and Eminem Show. But it's by far his best project from a straight lyrical standpoint imo.

Though I can't see how anyone can like Survival, the song is just so terrible and it seems so out of place on that album. One of my least favorite Em songs ever lol. But I freakin' love the album. I loved the Em and Kdot duo so much I've been thinking of what an entire of these two would be like especially if Dr. Dre produced it. That shit would fodderize Watch the Throne lol.

My top 5 tracks (no particular order)

Bad Guy
Rhyme or Reason
*******
Legacy
Brainless

Though my top 5 is constantly changing, Bad Guy, Legacy, and Rhyme or Reason are the only tracks that consistently stay in my top.

Groundhog Day is f*ckin' EPIC!!!!!!!
