Back when I was a Deidara fan I liked all eps that involved him. Not that I'm a fan of Root Fu I don't have many to choose from. So I just have to enjoy those moments when he isn't off-model (episodes 207 and 208 and Shino vs Torune).

Shippuden episode 82 (Shikamaru's reaction to Asuma's death) ranks really high up there for me, especially the scenes the anime added in that weren't in the manga. The mood and atmosphere of the episode is something completely different than what you'd normally expect from a Naruto episode (with the only other ep really comparable to it is Naruto's reaction to Jiraiya's death), and it does its job of leaving such a melancholy feeling that way.
