[Discussion] What are your expectations of the Dark Expedtion Arc?

I feel like the dark expedtion arc will be the best hxh arc. even better than hunter exam and yorjnew city arc. Here are some of the things that I expect from it

Great storytelling on the dark continent- The dark comntinent is a abig world we know nothing about. Thre may be mco many new creatures,races,treasures and mysteries hidden. Not to mention new amazing characters and quite possibly villains/allies.Ging said the chrimera ants come from there.

More info on ging and his group-What are ging's abilities and secrets? what will their adventures be in the dark continent. After all ging was always very hyped up. I think he will not disopoint and he will live up to the hupe

Beyond netero!!!Nuff said!!!- This guy. what is he really up to?What are his abilities and true motoves? Is he a deep character? I have a feeling he will not be a typical antagonist. I cannot wait to see the power of his henchmen too.

Kurapika-What will he do? How will his revange quest continue?I have a feeling that he will be very focused on his revange and will obtain even more powers. I could see him teaming up with mr beyond for his own advantage for killing the phantom troupe. I do not think he will go completly sasuke as that woul,d be ridicolous however his main mission is to get revange and not protecvt his friends. I think in this arc this will be more elaborated and he will get lots of paneltime.
Leorio- His character has always been a little annoying and he always lacked resolve/individuality in my opinion. However I do beleive that this arc will be his time to shine. He is an emitter after all. I wonder what abilities he will use...

Much less killua and gon- I am not saying that those two will not get any paneltime in this upcoming arc however I do not see any reasons why they would be the vocal point of this arc.

Some phantom troupe involvement-If this arc will have a lot of kurapika then it only makes sense that theese guys should be involved too.They could go to dark continent to search for stuff to sell. I am curious about chrollo and his situation especially.

What d0 you guys expect from this new arc? Are you excited? I simply cannot wait for togashi to finish playig dragonquest and start writing..

If Togashi keeps up the quality he had before hiatus then it is going to be one of the best manga arcs(including seinen too). Too bad there is no return date but we can patiently wait for Togashi to produce something amazing, if there is no pressure on him, he will surely deliver.

I expect to see kurapika rek the 4th prince, Ging to accomplish his goal. Oh and to see DON FREECS!!

IIRC, Togashi said that the DC is the second half of HxH. So all the arcs, from the Hunter Exams to the Election Arc, are the first half.

IIRC too, this arc should be longer than the Chimera Ants Arc.

Don't have the link, but I remember him saying that. He's close to half of his story from the CA arc or something like that. Not too sure.

Oda asked him that question during 2011 and here's his response:

O: So where is HxH? At half?

T: Hard to say. I still have five or six stories in mind. If all goes as planned, there should be at least 3 or 4 stories after the ant arc. Course of time, unexpected events occur and **** up your plans. therefore, OP is more than half?

I kind of wish Togashi would just write the story at his own pace and not release it until it's done. He's obviously not a deadline type of writer so just let him write the stuff then put it out in one big work.
