That's very plausible, um What do you expect it's final form to have sharingan and/or rinnegan like abilities?
In Japanese mythology, it is said that Ninjas descended from the Tengus (Susanoo is designed from a Tengu) but one Tengu stood above all, the God-King Tengu Sojobo who lived in the forest in Mount Kurama.
This I believe is the imagery of Sojobo shown in the Fire Temple

It is said that Sojobo was the one who taught the legendary warrior monk Ushiwakamaru the secret arts of magic, alchemy and swordsmanship. I think the story of Rikūdo and Jūbi were based on this myth, and considering that Sojobo is a Tengu (Uchiha Yin) and Nature/Mokuton (Hermit of the Forest) (Senju Yang) in one being, it could be Kishimoto's design for the final form of the Jūbi
