[Question] What are you guys thinking of the war of bleach in the manga?

Yes this, far too long war stories have been bogged down by the tyrannical abuse of the use of fight scenes. Just look at AoT(one of this base's new favorites) they did a whole war between humans and monsters and they didn't need to resort to excessive pointless fight scenes and gore, oh wait a minute.

Get off your high hipster horse buddy, "I would of liked this war if there wasn't so much fighting" It's WAR get over it. Did you think they'd only show 5 battles and only focus on the stars? That'd be a shitty war.

haha, tbh the thing with Bleach is that the fight scenes are kinda like Final Fantasy games...
seriously though, think of it... isn't it kinda turnbased?
one guy uses his move, and we think he wins...
the other guy uses his move, and we think he wins instead...
but the first guy survives and uses a move, and we think he totally killed his opponent..
but then the second guy survives that as well and uses his trumph card... and we're like: OMFG HE KILLED THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GUY
but then the first guy actually survived and stands there talking shit..
and the second guy totally came up with a second trumph card from nowhere and decides to use that... but the guy survives

OT : it's quite boring. So many fights and every fight takes a lot of time . And 1 chapter is like 4 min if it was animated dafq!!

war=/=one on one fight scenes. Those scenes actually make you take the war less seriously because it takes away from the bigger picture and wastes time in general. Similarly, the worst part of the Naruto war was the beginning with the pointless fights against the edos which had no relevance to the overall war.

Too much of pointless fighting. And now, when Ichigo came to the rescue, we're gonna see him fodderize the others. He must bring Lord Aizen back. That would make Bleach interesting again.

None of the fighting scenes in a war are pointless. That's like saying the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the guy gets in a 1v1 with the German Sniper is a pointless scene. 1v1 battles are meant to exemplify the tragedy of war, it's those fights where we see the toll the battle takes on the fighters soul more than not, it's those scenes where they can showcase the struggles a war places on the combatants. These are emotions that are difficult to get across during a large scale army battle, when you have 1,000's of men to show how can you expect to show the personal toll of war? Those mass army scenes are good for showing the physical destruction wars bring with them but small scale group battles or 1v1's are used to show the emotional destruction that takes place in war.
