DNA means Deoxyribonucleic acid, and I doubt anyone could explain such a complex concept to you here. Basically, (not really) it is a persons genetic code, or genetic material, or whatever. They get Hashi's DNA, shoot up, and voila, they have his wood release abilities. You should google it.
