I'd try Death Parade. Death Parade has a lot of up-beat vibes, but it is very dark and it also questions what exactly is "good vs. evil". It's more gore than action based.
Another good suggestion would be Ajin (Demi-Human). That definitely carries the dark aesthetic vibes and I personally like the soundtrack. It carries a highly similar vibe to Tokyo Ghoul.
I've also heard that Ergo Proxy is a really good one to check out if you like the dark aesthetic. Although, I've personally yet to see it.
