[Question] What anime(s) should I watch?

So pretty much all the anime (or asian/cartoon related) shows I have liked and watched are: Dragonball (Z), Naruto, Avatar the last airbender/korra and I recently started Attack on Titan (which is awesome by the way). I like shows which are slightly more happy (hard to explain) like the shows I listed above, except for Attack on Titan which is awesome in its own way. So based on that what anime(s) should I watch? I keep on hearing One Piece and Bleach as being good too so I might start them after my exams.. how are they?

Oh and should I watch them english dubbed or japanese with english subs?

Bleach is good but its too straight-foward and generic.

One Piece has a really slow start but its good along the way. Its airing on toonami this Saturday.

hunter x hunter 2011 (in my top 3 ongoing anime)
bleach (not that many filler, only one bad arc IMO, the anime has stopped though because it's close to the manga)
death note ( no comment this show is just that good)
code geass (as good if not better than death note)

One Piece imo is the best out of the big 3. Of course its really long too, and people complain it is hard to get into the 1st few episodes. After you get over that hurdle it is an amazing show.
Watch sub.

If you want shorter animes, I'd recommend

- Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood // fits your criteria perfectly. Dub is really good.
- Code Geass Dub or sub, can't go wrong.
- Samurai Champloo Dub or sub.
- Yu Yu Hakusho Dub is a bit better then sub.
- Death Note // a more darker anime but still it is good. Might not be your taste though. Either sub or dub.
- Rurouni Kenshin Dub over sub but both still good.
- Eureka 7 // not funny happy, but happy moments. only watched dub so no comment on the sub.

Well, you´ll be quite busy if you start watching those two (One Piece and Bleach) but I can definately recommend those.

Others would be Death Note and Basilisk, which are quite short (37 and 24 episodes respectively).

Alright great Thanks, I will look into those. Yeah that was the thing keeping me from trying out Death Note..but I dunno i might still try it.

You seem to be a fan of Dub lol. I'm just the opposite, once you hear the emotion in the japanese voices the American voice actors feel lazy or unfamilair with the emotional tone that should be set.
