You cannot be a real fanboy/fangirl of a series if you only like one part of it, like for example the characters. You gotto love all parts of it to qualify to be a fanboy/fangirl. If you like one series' story and another series' characters, you're not really a fanboy/fangirl of it. It's like having several wives when you should only be faithful to one. One wife for cooking, another wife for *** and so on. If you haven't found a wife that is both good at cooking and *** and everything else, you cannot be her "fanboy".
